Previously, on the evening of July 31, an Australian tourist unfortunately dropped his engagement ring at Cua Dai beach (Hoi An Dong ward, Da Nang city). With the desire to help tourists find their lost items, Mr. Phan Thanh Trinh and Mr. Pham Nhu Dong proactively contacted and brought specialized metal detectors to the beach area to search.
After many hours of perseverance, the two men discovered the ring deep under the sand, near the edge of the sea, and returned it to the owner. Upon receiving the ring, the Australian tourist burst into tears of emotion. The tourist said the ring was worth more than 2,000 USD (more than 52 million VND) and had special meaning to his family.

On July 25, Mr. Phan Thanh Trinh and his colleagues helped two other tourists find two lost Iphone 14Pro and Iphone 15 phones while swimming at My Khe beach in Da Nang city.
Searching for lost property on the beach is one of the regular tasks performed by the staff of the Beach Tourism Order Management Team and the Rescue Team to support residents and tourists during their duties.
In the first 6 months of 2025, the Coastal Tourism Order Management Team had 31 cases of lost property found and returned to the owner. Of these, 11 cases supported foreign tourists and 1 case had property value of over 60 million VND.
