Da Nang ranked first in provincial digital transformation for the fourth consecutive time

At the meeting, the Ministry of Information and Communications released the “Digital Transformation Assessment Index Report of ministries, ministerial-level agencies, government agencies and centrally-run provinces and cities – DTI at ministerial and provincial levels in 2023”. Accordingly, Da Nang is in the top 10 provinces and cities with the highest DTI in 2023.

Specifically, there are 7 provinces and cities maintaining the Top 10 ranking from last year including: Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City, Thua Thien - Hue, Lang Son, Can Tho, Bac Giang and Ba Ria - Vung Tau and 3 new provinces and cities ranked in the top 10 in 2023: Hanoi , Binh Duong and Hai Phong.

Notably, Da Nang ranked first for the fourth consecutive time in provincial DTI with the achieved value this time being 0.8340.

Regarding the ranking of key indicators, Da Nang ranked first in 5/8 key indicators including digital awareness, digital institutions, digital human resources, network information security and digital government activities.

Regarding the ranking of the three pillars, Da Nang continues to rank first in digital government, digital economy and digital society.

It is known that the DTI 2023 score is the total score of 98 component indicators. Among the 8 main indicators, digital awareness has the highest value and up to 15 provinces and cities achieved the maximum score. Digital institutions have the second highest value and 6 provinces and cities achieved the maximum score. The index with the lowest value is Digital Social Activities 0.4181.
