On May 30, Da Nang City Police held a ceremony to announce the decisions of the Minister of Public Security on promoting ranks and raising salaries for leaders, officers and soldiers who have reached their term.

Authorized by the Minister of Public Security and the Director of the City Police, Senior Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thanh Trung, Head of the Organization and Personnel Department, announced the decisions to raise the salary of the rank of Colonel, promote the rank of Colonel, and promote the rank of Lieutenant Colonel for 9 comrades.

In particular, the promotion of rank (1 year ahead of schedule) from Lieutenant Colonel to Colonel for Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Dai Dong, Deputy Director in charge of Da Nang City Police.

The Ministry of Public Security decided to raise the salary of Colonel Nguyen Van Tang, Deputy Director of the City Police Department, and promote the ranks from Lieutenant Colonel to Senior Colonel for 7 Department-level leaders from June 1.

Also at the ceremony, the leader of the Personnel Organization Department also announced the decision of the City Police Director on salary increase and rank promotion for 1,183 officers and soldiers in the entire City Police force until the term expires from June 1.

Previously, on April 28, the Ministry of Public Security announced the Decision to retire from work and wait to receive retirement benefits from May 1 for Major General Vu Xuan Vien, Director of Da Nang City Police, and handed over the Decision to assign the responsibility of Da Nang City Police to Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Dai Dong, Deputy Director of Da Nang City Police.
