The People's Committee of Da Nang City has just issued a document on enrollment in grades 1 and 6 for the 2025-2026 school year, in which it requested relevant units to prioritize admitting students who are children of officials, civil servants, and public employees of Quang Nam province who are working at agencies and units subject to merger into public schools in the area.

This is to ensure the right to education for children of Quang Nam provincial officials during the process of restructuring provincial administrative units, especially at preschool, primary and secondary school levels.

The Departmentof Education and Training of Da Nang city was assigned to take the lead in developing a priority enrollment plan for students in this category, ensuring that their studies are not interrupted.

At the same time, the department will provide specific instructions to schools on how to flexibly receive applications, facilitate school transfers, and enroll in accordance with regulations.

The Department of Education and Training of Da Nang will also coordinate with the Department of Education and Training of Quang Nam to grasp the number of students who are children of officials, civil servants and public employees who need to transfer to Da Nang.

The People's Committees of districts are assigned to direct the Department of Education and Training to review and allocate students appropriately. Primary and secondary schools in the area proactively accept students according to the process, ensuring that they are suitable for the conditions of facilities and teaching staff.

Students will be placed near their parents' residence or workplace for convenience in living and studying.

In addition, the city continues to implement solutions to ensure facilities, teaching staff, increase enrollment scale and improve the quality of two-session/day teaching for primary school students.
