Specifically, the City People's Committee decided to impose an administrative penalty on Hoa Phat Textbook Printing Joint Stock Company - Da Nang Branch (headquartered at 157 Ton Duc Thang Street, Hoa An Ward, Cam Le District, Da Nang City), for late payment of compulsory social insurance and unemployment insurance of over VND512 million. The penalty is a fine of over VND138 million.
The City People's Committee also decided to impose an administrative penalty on Leo Investment, Trade and Service Company Limited (headquartered at Lot 9, 10 Bui Ta Han Street, Khue My Ward, Ngu Hanh Son District, Da Nang City) for late payment of compulsory social insurance and unemployment insurance of over VND407 million. The penalty is a fine of nearly VND110 million.
Along with the fine, the People's Committee of Da Nang City requires the above two enterprises to have the obligation to remedy the consequences by paying the full amount of compulsory social insurance and unemployment insurance to the social insurance agency. At the same time, pay interest equal to 2 times the average social insurance fund investment interest rate of the previous year (0.6984%/month) calculated on the amount and time of late payment.
If not implemented, the Chairman of the City People's Committee requests other credit institutions and the State Treasury to deduct from the deposit accounts of these two units to pay the late payment amount and the interest on this amount calculated according to the highest non-term deposit interest rate of State-owned commercial banks announced at the time of penalty (0.3%/year) into the account of the social insurance agency.
The City People's Committee also requires violating enterprises to strictly comply with the Penalty Decision. If the deadline expires and the units do not voluntarily comply, they will be forced to comply according to the provisions of law.
