36.1% of the projects to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses have been completed according to Decision No. 270 of the Provincial People's Committee and 88.2% of the projects according to Resolution No. 188 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee - Lang Son Newspaper

- As of the afternoon of March 28, the whole province has started construction and repair of 1,592/4,405 works according to Decision No. 270/QD-UBND, dated January 24, 2025 of the Provincial People's Committee on approving the results of synthesizing the need to eliminate temporary houses and dilapidated houses for meritorious people, poor households, near-poor households, households affected by natural disasters, climate change and other subjects needing support to improve housing in the province, accounting for 36.1%; of which 177 houses have been completed, an increase of 21 works compared to March 24.

Regarding the implementation of Resolution No. 188-NQ/TU, dated October 25, 2024 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on implementing the program to support the elimination of temporary houses and dilapidated houses for households with revolutionary contributions, policy families, poor households, near-poor households, and people affected by natural disasters and climate change in the province, by the afternoon of March 28, the whole province had implemented 2,182/2,472 works, accounting for 88.2%; of which 1,818 works were completed, an increase of 72 works compared to March 24, including 951/951 newly built works and 867 repaired works.

Currently, all levels, sectors, districts and cities in the province are continuing to mobilize resources to implement the program of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses, striving to achieve the set targets. In particular, striving to complete 100% of the works according to Resolution No. 188 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee before April 30, 2025 and striving to complete the works according to Decision No. 270 of the Provincial People's Committee before the 18th Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.
