After passing the group stage, Binh Dien Long An Club met Kaohsiung Taipower of Taiwan (China) in the quarter-final match taking place this afternoon, April 25. The representative of Vietnamese women's volleyball won the right to continue after 4 rounds.

Binh Dien Long An started the match well. In the chase with their opponents in the first round, Tran Thi Thanh Thuy and her teammates were always in the lead. Coach Thai Quang Lai's students won with a score of 25-20.

The two teams continued to compete for points at the beginning of the second half. However, consecutive errors by Binh Dien Long An created opportunities for Kaohsiung to break away and create a large gap. The representative of Taiwan (China) won 25-17.

Thanh Thuy and her teammates did not repeat the mistake in set 3. The Vietnamese team won 25-22 in the score comparison with Kaohsiung to create an important advantage before moving to set 4.

Kaohsiung Taipower was determined to tie the score. The two teams maintained a deadlock until 24-24. It was not until the referee called a foul on a Kaohsiung Taipower player touching the net that Binh Dien Long An got the deciding point 28-26.

Winning the final set with a score of 3-1, Binh Dien Long An won the right to enter the quarterfinals. The opponent of the Vietnamese team is the winner of the match between Beijing (China) and Petro Gazz (Philippines).
