In his daily life, Venerable Thich An Nguyen is not only devoted to religious duties but also actively mobilizes charitable organizations and individuals to contribute to helping the poor and unfortunate.

In particular, the Venerable Monk contributed to building charitable houses for the poor, helping poor but studious students, orphans, and so on.

Through the Venerable Monk's acts of kindness, many people in difficult circumstances have been helped and have the opportunity to stabilize their lives.

From 2024 to the present, the Venerable Monk has mobilized Buddhist followers to donate 600 gift packages worth 180 million VND to poor households; and 1,000 Mid-Autumn Festival gifts to children.

In addition, the Venerable Monk also coordinated with the village committee to donate health insurance cards to people in difficult circumstances; contributed to the "Drops of Compassion" program to support people in drought- and saline-affected areas; and implemented a security camera surveillance model in religious establishments, etc.

Furthermore, the Venerable Monk collaborated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Can Giuoc commune to implement the Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space and the General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong Cultural Space within the grounds of Phap Mon Pagoda. Through this, Buddhists have the opportunity to learn about the life and revolutionary career of President Ho Chi Minh and General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.

The Venerable has implemented many good models in studying and following the example of President Ho Chi Minh, especially in carrying out social welfare work.”

Through his practical actions, Venerable Thich An Nguyen has received numerous commendations and certificates of merit from various levels for his contributions to social and charitable activities in the locality, including a commendation from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for outstanding achievements in studying and following the ideology, ethics, and style of Ho Chi Minh, during the period 2016-2025.
