6 Thinking Assessment Tests in 2024
According to information announced by Hanoi University of Science and Technology, the content and format of the exam will remain the same as in 2023. Specifically, the Thinking Assessment Test (TSA) consists of three parts: Mathematical Thinking (60 minutes), Reading Comprehension (30 minutes) and Scientific Thinking/Problem Solving (60 minutes) with three levels of thinking assessment (reactive thinking, deductive thinking and higher-order thinking).
The questions are constructed in the form of multiple choice with four types of structures: Select the correct answer, true/false, drag and drop, and short answer.
Unlike other exams, the thinking assessment exam does not focus on testing knowledge, so it does not require candidates to spend a lot of time reviewing, because thinking training has been formed throughout the learning process.
In 2023, the thinking assessment test is considered to have many advantages for students' test-taking process. The test is adjusted to be compact (duration 150 minutes) and organized in the form of multiple-choice tests on computers.
The university admission fields that can use the TSA exam results have been expanded, including Science and Technology, Economics , Engineering, Industry, Agriculture, Finance, Banking, Medicine and Pharmacy.
The 2024 Thinking Assessment Test will be organized by Hanoi University of Science and Technology in Hanoi, Hung Yen, Nam Dinh, Hai Phong, Thai Nguyen, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Da Nang...
