Danang University: Connecting and accompanying localities to improve the capacity of staff

Contribute to the development of the International Financial Center in Da Nang

The University of Economics - University of Danang has just organized 4 training courses to disseminate knowledge about financial centers for 280 officials and civil servants of departments, branches and sectors at the Danang City Administrative Center. According to Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Tam - Director of the Danang Department of Finance, this is a concrete step to implement the policy of "Building Danang into a financial center, associated with innovation, logistics and free trade, as one of the strategic spearheads of the Central key economic region" (according to Notice No. 47-TB/TW of the Politburo dated November 15, 2024, Resolution No. 259/NQ-CP of the Government dated December 31, 2024).

University of Economics - University of Danang awarded Certificate of Completion of Training Course on Dissemination of Knowledge on Financial Center to Da Nang City's staff.

Trainees are trained and provided with a lot of useful knowledge, thereby opening up their thinking and vision about management models, legal operations, thereby appropriately applying international experience into practice in the development trend of digital finance, digital assets and fintech.

The staff and teachers of the education sector in Quang Ngai province were trained in AI application by the Vietnam - Korea University of Information and Communications Technology and the University of Danang.

The training program is of great significance in systematizing knowledge, raising awareness, thinking and related skills for the staff to be ready to prepare for the goal of forming an international financial center in Da Nang, implementing Resolution No. 29-NQ/TU of the Da Nang City Party Committee on building a Vietnam international financial center in the city.

Previously, Da Nang City also assigned Da Nang University, in which the University of Economics - UD is the core in training high-quality human resources, especially in key industries such as financial technology (fintech), international business, e-commerce, etc.

Promoting digital transformation and AI application in education sector

Implementing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, Vietnam - Korea University of Information and Communications Technology (VKU), Danang University also actively coordinated with the Department of Education and Training of Danang, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai to organize a training program for more than 100 staff and teachers to promote digital transformation and application of artificial intelligence (AI) in the field of education.

Improving public management capacity for Principals and Chief Accountants of high schools in Quang Nam province.

Ms. Le Thi Bich Thuan - Director of the Department of Education and Training of Da Nang City acknowledged that this is a very necessary activity to connect general education with university education, catch up with the requirements and trends of modernizing the education system; personalize learning and maximize the capacity of each teacher and student.

According to Associate Professor, Dr. Huynh Cong Phap - Rector of VKU, the school is a pioneer in implementing the spirit of close cooperation between Danang University and the education and training sector of provinces and cities, focusing on developing science, technology, innovation and digital transformation. Through this activity, staff and teachers are shared and guided by experts in applying effective tools (ChatGPT, Magic School, Gamma AI, Invideo, Lumen5, Quizizz...) to design lesson plans, create automatic exams, build personalized learning paths, evaluate learning outcomes and support school management. This is a trend in response to the need to develop AI applications into digital assistants to help teachers save time, increase initiative, creativity and teaching and learning efficiency, and actively interact with learners.
