Admission method is based on the results of the V-SAT university entrance exam organized by Can Tho University in 2025 combined with English proficiency of 225.

Benchmark increases/decreases by about 1 point

Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics said that it has so far received a large number of applications at both its campuses in Ho Chi Minh City and Vinh Long.

At the Ho Chi Minh City campus, 70% of the applications are from candidates with excellent academic achievements or higher, or students from specialized schools, excellent students at the provincial/city level, 40% have international English certificates equivalent to IELTS from 6.0 or TOEFL iBT from 73 points or higher, or have excellent student awards at the provincial/city level.

At Vinh Long campus, 50% of the applications are from candidates with excellent academic achievements or higher, or students from specialized schools, excellent students at the provincial/municipal level, 20% have international English certificates equivalent to IELTS from 6.0 or TOEFL iBT from 73 points or higher, or have excellent student awards at the provincial/municipal level.

With the current profile situation, the benchmark score is expected to fluctuate up/down within 1 point compared to last year, depending on the training program.
