The 16th Congress of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term will take place from September 25 to 27. This is an important political event for the entire Party Committee, government, armed forces and people of all ethnic groups in the province; a milestone opening a new, steady and confident development path in the era of integration and innovation; worthy of the role of a growth pole of the Northern key economic region.

High political determination, careful preparation

The 16th Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030, convened 366 official delegates representing over 104,000 party members from 59 affiliated party committees. To ensure the success of this important political event, preparations have been carried out seriously, with quality and progress in accordance with the regulations and instructions of the Central Committee; specifically Directive No. 45-CT/TW and Conclusion No. 175-KL/TW of the Politburo . The province has proactively issued a Plan to organize Party Congresses at all levels, focusing on two core contents: drafting documents and preparing personnel.

By August 14, the province had completed 100% of the congresses of its affiliated party committees. The affiliated party committees seriously summarized and evaluated the results of implementing the resolutions of the previous term's congress; at the same time, discussed and contributed many profound opinions to the documents of the Provincial Party Congress for the 2025 - 2030 term.

Regarding the work of drafting documents, the draft Political Report has been carefully and elaborately constructed. Right from the stage of drafting the outline, the Provincial Party Committee has organized many workshops and seminars to consult and receive opinions from central committees, ministries, branches, experts, scientists, former provincial leaders, affiliated party committees and especially to widely collect opinions from the people. During the completion process, the draft has continuously updated the latest orientations and directions from the draft Documents of the 14th National Party Congress and the strategic resolutions of the Central Committee, ensuring comprehensiveness, feasibility and consistency.

Identifying human resources as the key factor determining the success of the new term, this work is carried out by the province in a very strict, democratic, scientific, objective, transparent manner, associated with planning, rotation, mobilization, and arrangement of cadres. The goal is to prepare a good source of high-quality human resources, with sufficient political qualities, ethics, capacity and prestige to shoulder great responsibilities in the 2025 - 2030 term.

New atmosphere in the homeland Northeast

Towards the important political festival, the closer the Congress date gets, the more patriotic emulation movements, with the spirit of making practical achievements to celebrate, take place. Along with the projects with welcome signs at the provincial level, from production sites, factories, to schools, residential areas, etc., the atmosphere of emulation in labor, production, study, and training takes place extremely lively and exciting.

The sense of responsibility and the pioneering role of cadres and party members have been strongly aroused, creating a new vitality in the entire Party and people. With the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development", the 16th Quang Ninh Provincial Party Congress will focus on summarizing the implementation of the Resolution of the 15th Congress, determining the direction, goals, tasks and solutions for the 2025 - 2030 term. The Congress will discuss and build a Resolution and an Action Program to successfully implement the set goals; at the same time, contribute opinions to the documents submitted to the 14th National Congress of the Party. The Congress will also elect the new Provincial Party Executive Committee and the Delegation to attend the 14th National Congress of the Party.
