The 7th Congress of Ninh Binh Provincial Farmers' Association was a great success.

On the afternoon of August 14, at the Provincial Party Committee Headquarters Hall, the 7th Congress of the Ninh Binh Provincial Farmers' Association, term 2023-2028, held its 3rd working session, closing the Congress.

Attending the event were comrade Do Viet Anh, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; representative of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union ; leaders of a number of Party Building Committees of the Provincial Party Committee; 250 delegates representing more than 130,000 farmer members in the province.

With the theme "Solidarity - Responsibility - Innovation - Development", the Congress focused on discussing contents to improve the quality of the Association's activities and promote the development of the farmers' movement. At the same time, the Resolution for the 2023 - 2028 term was voted to be passed with 12 specific targets, 4 key tasks and solutions. The Congress also elected a delegation to attend the 8th National Congress of the Vietnam Farmers' Union , term 2023 - 2028, including 13 official delegates and 2 alternate delegates.

Recognizing the contributions and dedication to the Association of the comrades of the Executive Committee of the Provincial Farmers' Association, term VI, who were not re-elected , the Congress presented flowers and wished the comrades good health, happy families and continued contributions to the Association's work and the provincial farmers' movement.

In his closing speech at the Congress, Comrade Dinh Hong Thai, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Farmers' Association emphasized: After 2 days of active, urgent, and serious work with a high sense of responsibility to all cadres, members, and farmers in the province, the 7th Provincial Farmers' Association Congress, term 2023 - 2028, has completed all the contents and programs set out and achieved great success.

The Congress discussed and approved important documents: Report of the Executive Committee of the Provincial Farmers' Association, term VI, 2018-2023; Review report of the Executive Committee of the Provincial Farmers' Association, term VI and approved the Congress Resolution. The Congress promoted democracy, emphasized responsibility, discussed and unanimously elected the Executive Committee of the Provincial Farmers' Association, term VII, consisting of 31 comrades who meet the standards of quality, capacity, qualifications and prestige to lead and direct the implementation of the tasks of the Association and the farmers' movement in the whole province in the coming time. The Congress believes that the comrades elected to the Executive Committee of the Provincial Farmers' Association, term VII, will promote the spirit of solidarity, innovation, proactiveness and creativity; constantly improve capacity, qualifications, courage, moral qualities, strive together with all cadres, members and farmers in the province to successfully implement the goals and tasks set by the Congress.

The results of the 7th Provincial Farmers' Union Congress are of great significance, marking a new stage of development for the Association's work and the farmers' movement in the province; the result of the elaborate, serious and thoughtful preparation process in all aspects of the Provincial Farmers' Union Executive Committee for the 2018-2023 term. In particular, the Congress received the attention and leadership of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee, the Central Standing Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union; and the coordination of departments, branches, sectors and organizations in the province.

The success of the 7th Provincial Farmers' Association Congress is a great source of encouragement and motivation for all cadres, members and farmers in the province to continue to overcome difficulties and challenges. At the same time, it promotes the spirit of solidarity, dynamism, creativity, and building a strong Association in all aspects, together with the Party Committee, government and people in the province, to successfully implement the goals and tasks of building advanced new rural areas, model new rural areas and the cause of industrialization and modernization of agriculture and rural areas in the province.

Immediately after the Congress, the Provincial Farmers' Association directed Farmers' Associations at all levels to well organize the dissemination of the Resolution and Congress documents, widely disseminate the results of the Congress to cadres, members and farmers; promptly develop and implement programs and action plans, put the Resolution into practice in the Association's activities and farmers' movements to achieve results.
