On the morning of April 25, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Van Ninh district held the 10th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the district, term 2024 - 2029. Mr. Cao Ngoc Tam - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province and 170 delegates attended the congress.

During the past term, the Front and its member organizations in Van Ninh district have always focused on innovating the content and methods of operation, closely following the grassroots, taking residential areas as the area of operation; promoting the role of mobilizing, gathering, uniting, and motivating people of all walks of life to actively participate in patriotic emulation movements, campaigns associated with the implementation of socio -economic development tasks in the locality... In 5 years, the District Front has mobilized to build the "For the Poor" Fund with over 3.6 billion VND, receiving over 3 billion VND from the higher-level Front. From the above amount, the District Front has supported the construction and repair of 66 great solidarity houses with a total cost of over 2.9 billion VND; supporting poor studious students, poor households, and those in difficulty during holidays, Tet, production development, illness... with a total cost of over 4.2 billion VND. In addition, the District Front has coordinated with businesses and philanthropists to present over 5,000 gifts to beneficiaries, estimated to be worth over 1.3 billion VND. The Front's member organizations have mobilized and received over 2.2 billion VND, supporting the construction and repair of 102 houses for poor union members and members in difficult circumstances; implementing activities to encourage learning and talent, building charity kitchens, supporting families in sudden difficult circumstances, accidents, serious illnesses... with a total amount of over 15 billion VND. The work of participating in Party and government building; social supervision and criticism has been implemented synchronously and extensively by the Front and its member organizations; ensuring the legitimate and legal rights and interests of the people; expanding and improving the effectiveness of people's foreign affairs activities, strengthening solidarity, friendship and international cooperation...

In the 2024 - 2029 term, the Front and its member organizations in the district will continue to promote their core role in propaganda, mobilization, gathering, building the great national unity bloc, strengthening social consensus; promoting democracy, performing well the task of representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of the people; improving the quality of social supervision and criticism activities; strongly promoting the role and responsibility of member organizations; proactively and actively participating in Party and State building, preventing and combating corruption, waste, and negativity... The Front at all levels in the district strives that every year, 100% of poor and near-poor households are visited and given gifts on holidays and Tet; 100% of families when facing natural disasters, incidents, having their houses collapsed, completely collapsed or severely damaged... are supported and helped; By the end of the term, strive to support the construction of at least 15 new solidarity houses...
On this occasion, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee awarded certificates of merit to 2 collectives and 4 individuals; the District People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 4 collectives and 8 individuals with outstanding achievements in the past term.

The congress elected 53 delegates to join the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district for the new term and sent a delegation to attend the Congress of Vietnam Fatherland Front of the province. Mr. Pham Hue - Chairman of Van Thang Commune People's Committee was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Van Ninh district for the 2024 - 2029 term.
