Since the issuance of Resolution 57-NQ/TW, Da Nang City has focused on and urgently implemented it and achieved many important results. Da Nang was assigned 75 tasks by the Central Government, and has so far completed 32 tasks (42.7%), and is currently implementing 43 tasks. Da Nang City is in the Top 5 agencies and localities with the highest rate of task completion in the country.
In the new context, Da Nang is oriented to develop according to a strategy with 3 centers: National Center for Science and Innovation, Southeast Asia-scale Digital Transformation Center, International Finance Center; building 8 action programs. The city will continue to develop into a smart city, with 3 pillars: digital government, digital economy and digital society.
The People's Committee of Da Nang City also made many recommendations and proposals for the Ministry of Science and Technology to support the city in the coming time, such as: Expanding the scope of controlled testing (Sandbox); establishing the National Center for Supporting Innovative Startups in Da Nang; allowing the installation of low-altitude satellite ground stations and granting operating licenses;
Continuing to support high-tech, strategic technology and management application fields; supporting investment in key infrastructure... this is an important premise for Da Nang city to soon achieve its goals and complete the tasks assigned by the Central Government.
Speaking at the conference, Minister of Science and Technology Nguyen Manh Hung acknowledged and highly appreciated the pioneering spirit of Da Nang city and its leaders in promoting effective implementation of science, technology, innovation and digital transformation. At the same time, the Ministry of Science and Technology also committed to accompanying the city in terms of support and intellectual human resources by sending central human resources to the locality.
With the determination and support of the entire political system, businesses and people, Da Nang will successfully implement Resolution 57 of the Politburo.
