The Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Lam Dong province proposed 7 action programs for the new term.

The Congress has the theme "Promoting the strength of great national unity; strengthening democracy and social consensus; arousing confidence and aspiration for innovation, building Lam Dong province to develop rapidly and sustainably, becoming a dynamic growth pole in the era of national advancement".

Comrade Pham Thi Phuc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province delivered the opening speech of the Congress.

In her opening speech, Comrade Pham Thi Phuc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, emphasized: During the past term, the Provincial Fatherland Front has promoted its core role in building the great national unity bloc, effectively implementing emulation movements and major campaigns. Many innovative models have spread strongly, contributing positively to socio-economic development and consolidating the political system.

In particular, in recent times, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the province has carried out two important tasks in parallel: implementing a new organizational model towards streamlining, effective and efficient operations; and guiding and directing the successful organization of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress at the commune, ward and special zone levels throughout the province.

The unanimity and cooperation of all levels, sectors, agencies, organizations and people in all circumstances, especially in difficult and challenging times, continue to affirm the role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in promoting democracy, building great solidarity, actively participating in patriotic emulation movements, contributing to socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security, and building a clean and strong Party and political system.

He suggested that at the Congress, delegates continue to promote their sense of responsibility, intelligence and experience to contribute ideas to the contents presented by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee at the Congress so that the local Fatherland Front's activities can develop further in the coming term, contributing together with the Party Committee and the government to successfully implement the goals and tasks set out in the Resolution of the 1st Provincial Party Congress.

Comrade Pham Trieu, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province, presented a summary of the draft Political Report to be submitted to the Congress.

At the Congress, comrade Pham Trieu, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province, briefly presented the draft Political Report to be submitted to the 1st Provincial Congress of Vietnam Fatherland Front Delegates, term 2025 - 2030.

Accordingly, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the three provinces of Lam Dong, Binh Thuan, Dak Nong before, now the new Lam Dong province, has made efforts to overcome difficulties, focusing on implementing well the targets and tasks set out in the Resolution of the Provincial Congress of Vietnam Fatherland Front for the term 2024 - 2029. There are 6 targets achieved and exceeded the plan; 3 targets partially achieved; 3 targets not achieved.

In the period of 2024 - 2025, the whole province mobilized people to contribute money, working days, donate land, and build public welfare works: Building and repairing more than 7,000 houses for the poor, completing the target of eliminating temporary houses and dilapidated houses; more than 109 billion VND to take care of poor households during Tet; more than 27 billion VND for the Gratitude Fund, more than 65.7 billion VND for the Education Promotion Fund; more than 185 billion VND to help people inside and outside the province overcome natural disasters and calamities. In the recent flood alone, the Provincial Fatherland Front received, advised, and promptly allocated 34 billion VND to support the provinces and 30.2 billion VND to 25 communes and wards, each commune from 500 million to 2 billion VND;...

Entering the 2025 - 2030 term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the province has determined the general goal of continuing to promote the strength of national solidarity, enhancing the core role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in mobilizing and gathering people; innovating the organization, content and methods of operation, implementing democracy, strengthening social consensus; Arousing the tradition of patriotism, belief and aspirations of the people, contributing to building Lam Dong province to develop rapidly and sustainably, becoming a dynamic growth pole in the era of national growth.

With the spirit of "Solidarity - Democracy - Consensus - Innovation - Development", the Congress set out 12 specific targets and 7 action programs of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Lam Dong province for the 2025 - 2030 term.

1. Step up propaganda and mobilization work, gather people from all walks of life, strengthen social consensus, and promote the strength of national solidarity.
2. Represent and protect the legitimate rights and interests of the People; improve the quality and effectiveness of social supervision and criticism, practice democracy, and actively participate in building the Party, State, and political system.
3. Encourage all classes of people to compete in studying, working, creating, participating in socio-economic development, preserving and promoting national cultural traditions, caring for people's lives, and contributing to building and defending the Fatherland.
4. Promote the people's role as masters and self-management spirit, build a united, prosperous and happy residential area.
5. Effectively carry out people's foreign affairs and work for Vietnamese people abroad.
6. Participate in the development of science and technology, innovation, and building a digital society; promote digital transformation in the Vietnam Fatherland Front system.
7. Innovate the content and methods of operation; build and operate a streamlined, effective and efficient apparatus; improve the capacity of staff to meet task requirements.
