The report of the representative of the Office of the President at the meeting said that in November 2025, under the attention and direct guidance of the President and Vice President, the Office of the President has promoted its role of advising, synthesizing, ensuring progress and quality in serving the State leaders in implementing tasks assigned by the Politburo and the Secretariat, according to the provisions of the Constitution. Many domestic and foreign activities of the State leaders have left many good impressions, receiving the attention and high appreciation of public opinion at home and abroad.
The Office of the President has closely coordinated with relevant agencies to prepare content, programs, advise and serve the President and Vice President to perform well their tasks related to the fields of legislation, executive, judiciary, national defense - security, foreign affairs; visited people in flooded areas in Da Nang within the framework of the National Great Unity Day. In addition, foreign affairs work has been effectively implemented, especially the President's attendance at the APEC 2025 Summit Week in Korea and activities to welcome foreign leaders.
President Luong Cuong praised the efforts and sense of responsibility of the leadership, cadres and civil servants of the Office of the President for closely following and making many innovations in preparation, organization and effective advice according to functions and tasks; including 8 outstanding results.
In addition to the achieved results, the President also pointed out the limitations and shortcomings compared to the task requirements that the Office of the President needs to make more efforts in coordinating to grasp the situation, and giving advice and proposals. With just over a month left to end 2025, with a short time, a lot of work, and high requirements, the President requested that the Office make efforts, prepare carefully, and deploy the tasks and plans carefully, closely, and according to the process. The implementation steps take work efficiency as a measure, continue to promote, coordinate, and cooperate with relevant units to assess the situation, proactively propose advice, and review to not miss regular and unexpected tasks. The Office of the President focuses on leading and directing the good organization of summarizing the implementation of tasks in 2025 and deploying tasks in 2026; evaluating the achieved results and existing problems in a substantial and objective manner to develop plans and deploy work in the coming time to achieve better results.
President Luong Cuong requested the Office of the President to continue to innovate its thinking and improve the quality of strategic advice, especially on matters directly related to the functions and duties of the President and Vice President as prescribed by the Constitution. The Office will focus on developing the 2026 work program; effectively serving important meetings of the Central Steering Committee for Judicial Reform and the National Defense and Security Council; and carefully preparing for domestic and foreign affairs activities at the end of the year.
The Office of the President continues to monitor the situation and the impacts of floods on people's lives as well as education and health care activities, etc. to promptly visit and care for people's lives, especially policy families and poor households, so that people can soon stabilize their lives, especially during the upcoming Lunar New Year 2026.
The President affirmed that the requirements for the Office of the President are increasingly high, requiring all staff to continue to train their mettle, improve their qualifications, maintain a spirit of solidarity and responsibility to successfully complete the task of advising and serving the State leadership in the coming time.
