The 1st Congress of Women's Delegates of Vinh Phuc Ward, term 2025 - 2030

On the afternoon of October 22, the Women's Union of Vinh Phuc Ward held its first Congress of Delegates for the 2025-2030 term. Attending and directing the Congress were comrades: Nguyen Hong Nhung - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union, Provincial Party Committee Member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Women's Union of Phu Tho Province; Nguyen Trung Hai - Provincial Party Committee Member, Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council of Vinh Phuc Ward.

Comrade Nguyen Hong Nhung - Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Women's Union presented flowers to congratulate the Congress.

Over the past years, the Women's Union of Vinh Phuc Ward has been proactive, creative, constantly innovating the content and methods of operation, focusing on implementing the Union's key tasks in conjunction with implementing the tasks and targets for local socio-economic development. Women's officials and members of Vinh Phuc Ward have promoted their roles and responsibilities well, actively participated in Party and government building and strictly implemented the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws. At the same time, they have actively contributed ideas to draft documents, advised and proposed to Party committees, authorities and departments and branches in propaganda and mobilization work to implement local socio-economic development programs. From 2021 to present, the Women's Union of the Ward has introduced 160 members to participate in Party awareness training courses and 145 outstanding women have been admitted to the Party, accounting for 70.7% of the total number of admitted Party members in the entire Party Committee; attracted and developed more than 560 members; chaired 2 monitoring sessions and participated in 30 monitoring sessions.

The emulation movements "Women help each other to develop family economy "; "Help poor households headed by women"; "Help poor women have addresses"; "Women help each other regularly" have been actively responded to by female cadres and members. Up to now, the Women's Union at all levels of the ward has worked with the TYM Fund and the Social Policy Bank to create conditions for members to borrow capital to develop production with a total outstanding loan of more than 68 billion VND; helped 25 poor women escape poverty; supported capital for over 30 women's households in difficulty with a total budget of about over 2 billion VND... contributing to reducing the rate of poor households in the ward to 0.21%; near-poor households to 0.35%.

Speaking at the Congress, Comrade Nguyen Hong Nhung, President of the Women's Union of Phu Tho province, praised and highly appreciated the achievements of the Women's Union of Vinh Phuc ward in the past term. He suggested that in the coming time, the Union should continue to implement the motto "Central direction of strategy - Province creative application - Commune accompanies members - Branches understand women", building the Union to truly be a trustworthy common home, where women find faith and motivation to rise up.

Along with that, the Association needs to strengthen propaganda, moral education, practice a beautiful lifestyle, build a civilized and modern style of behavior; promote emulation movements and campaigns, creating a widespread influence in the lives of members and women. Do a good job of caring for and protecting the rights of women and children, preventing domestic violence and child abuse; maintain and replicate the models of "Trusted Address" and "Safe Self-Managed Women".

At the same time, the Association needs to continue supporting women in economic development, sustainable poverty reduction, encouraging women to start businesses, apply digital transformation, and develop OCOP products owned by women. Proactively advise the Party Committee and government on planning, training, fostering, and using female cadres; improving leadership capacity, digital skills, and communication capacity; encouraging female cadres to dare to think, dare to do, and dare to take responsibility for the common good.

The Congress announced the Decision of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Women's Union on appointing the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Chairman, Vice Chairman, Inspection Committee members, Head of the Inspection Committee of the Ward Women's Union and appointing delegates to attend the Congress of Delegates of the Phu Tho Provincial Women's Union for the 2025 - 2030 term.
