The 5th Party Congress of the Economic - Defense Group for the 2025 - 2030 term was a great success.

Major General Hoang Duy Chien, Deputy Commander of Military Region 4 and delegates of Military Region 4 presented flowers to congratulate the comrades elected to the Party Executive Committee.

The Congress reviewed and evaluated the results of the implementation of the Resolution of the 5th Congress, decided on the direction, goals, tasks and leadership solutions for the 2025-2030 term; reviewed the leadership work of the Party Committee of the Youth Union for the 2020-2025 term; discussed and contributed opinions to the draft documents of the Central Committee to be submitted to the 14th National Party Congress; draft Political Report of the Party Committee of the Military Region to be submitted to the 12th Military Region Party Congress; elected the Executive Committee of the Youth Union for the 2025-2030 term and delegates to the 12th Military Region Party Congress.

The Political Report of the 5th Party Executive Committee of the Youth Union presented to the Congress affirmed: In the 2020 - 2025 term, the Youth Union Party Committee led and comprehensively implemented the goals and tasks set out by the Party Congress. Leadership capacity, comprehensive strength, qualifications, and combat readiness were improved; the quality of the implementation of the tasks of building the Economic - Defense Zone, training, regular construction, discipline management, logistics, technical and financial work had many progressive changes; the material and spiritual life of cadres, employees, and young volunteer intellectuals was improved; cadres, party members, and the masses always had absolute trust in the leadership of the Party, were united, unified, and successfully carried out all assigned tasks.

The Congress elected the Party Executive Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

The Party Committee has led the Delegation to effectively implement programs and projects, ensuring progress and quality, promoting efficiency, helping people eliminate hunger and reduce poverty, promoting local economic, cultural and social development, and working with local Party committees and authorities to reduce the poverty rate from 54.47% in 2020 to 28.36% today, contributing to creating new positions and strengths in the fields of politics, economics, culture, society, national defense and security in the Muong Lat Economic - Defense Zone...

With the achieved results, for many consecutive years the unit has been awarded the Emulation Flag by the Ministry of National Defense and the Military Region Command, always being the leading flag in the emulation movement of the Military Region's armed forces.

The Congress determined that in the 2025 - 2030 term, it will continue to improve the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party Committee. Focus on implementing the contents, tasks, and leadership solutions to carry out the central political tasks, build a comprehensively strong Youth Union "Exemplary model", focus on effectively implementing the task of building the Economic - Defense Zone, building a strong local political base, contributing to consolidating the defense - security posture in the area; improve the quality and effectiveness of Party building work. Promote democracy, strengthen discipline, maintain discipline, solidarity and unity, uphold the spirit of positivity, proactiveness, self-reliance, overcoming difficulties, successfully completing all assigned tasks.

With the motto "Solidarity - Innovation - Development", promoting democracy, collective intelligence and high responsibility of the delegates, the Congress elected 09 comrades to the Executive Committee of the Party Committee of the Economic - Defense Group 5 for the 6th term, term 2025 - 2030 and elected 05 official delegates, 01 alternate delegate to attend the 12th Congress of the Military Region Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030. At the first meeting, the Executive Committee of the Party Committee of the Group elected the Standing Committee and the Inspection Committee of the Party Committee for the new term.
