The Congress focused on evaluating the implementation results of the Resolution of the past term; reviewing the leadership of the Provincial Youth Union Executive Committee; pointing out the advantages, limitations, causes and drawing lessons. On that basis, the Congress set out goals, tasks and solutions to improve the quality of Youth Union work and youth movements in the period of 2025 - 2030, and at the same time discussed and contributed ideas to the Documents of the 13th National Youth Union Congress.
During the past term, the work of the Youth Union and the youth movement achieved many outstanding results: the whole province organized 718 study conferences, 522 competitions and festivals, commended 298 advanced youths, 389 exemplary union members, admitted 90 young party members; supported more than 2,560 union members and children in difficult circumstances with a total budget of nearly 8 billion VND.
Three revolutionary action movements were effectively implemented with thousands of projects and tasks; the program "For beloved juniors" carried out 156 projects, supporting children with nearly 30 billion VND. The work of training cadres and expanding the youth solidarity front continued to be innovated, contributing to strongly promoting the motto "wherever needed, there are youth, wherever difficult, there are youth".

Speaking at the Congress, Provincial Party Secretary Trinh Xuan Truong acknowledged the important contributions of Thai Nguyen youth in innovation, digital transformation, start-ups and green economic development, contributing to the goal of turning Thai Nguyen into a modern industrial center, developing rapidly and sustainably in the spirit of the Resolution of the 1st Provincial Party Congress.
Entering a new phase, the Provincial Party Secretary requested the Provincial Youth Union to continue to strengthen political education, ideals, ethics, and lifestyle; improve "resistance" to bad and toxic information; promote the pioneering role of youth in digital transformation, building digital government and digital economy. At the same time, focus on building a team of courageous and creative Youth Union officials; discover and nurture outstanding Youth Union members, create a source of young cadres for the Party; effectively participate in social supervision and criticism, and propose practical policies for youth.
The Provincial Party Secretary emphasized President Ho Chi Minh's teaching: "A year begins in spring, a life begins in youth", believing that Thai Nguyen youth will continue to promote revolutionary traditions and fulfill the goals set by the Congress.

Speaking at the Congress, comrade Nguyen Minh Triet, Secretary of the Central Youth Union, President of the Central Vietnam Student Association, expressed his confidence in the spirit of solidarity, creativity, daring to think and dare to do of the youth of Thai Nguyen province.
He highly appreciated the aspirations and breakthrough thinking expressed in the Political Report; affirmed that Thai Nguyen youth today have all the conditions to become a generation "firm in ideals, pure in morality, rich in humanity, with courage, knowledge and aspiration to contribute".
At the Congress, the first Provincial Youth Union Executive Committee was appointed to consist of 38 members, of which the Standing Committee consists of 10 members. Comrade Pham Thi Thu Hien continues to hold the position of Provincial Youth Union Secretary; Deputy Secretaries include: Hoang Anh Duc, Tran Cong Luan and Nguyen Thi Mai Anh. The Provincial Youth Union Inspection Committee consists of 7 members.

The Congress approved 15 targets and 4 key projects, aiming to build a generation of Thai Nguyen youth who are brave, creative, knowledgeable and ready to contribute to the development of their homeland.

On the sidelines of the Congress, a series of exhibition and experience spaces attracted a large number of delegates.
