At the conference, authorized by the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, the City Border Guard Party Committee announced Decision No. 2239, dated May 8, 2025 of the City Party Committee on appointing Colonel Ca Van Lap, Political Commissar of the City Border Guard to join the Party Executive Committee, Standing Committee of the Party Committee, holding the position of Secretary of the City Border Guard Party Committee, term 2020 - 2025.

Speaking at the ceremony to receive the assignment, Colonel Ca Van Lap, Party Secretary, Political Commissar of the City Border Guard, expressed his joy at receiving the decision of the Standing Committee of the Hue City Party Committee, appointing him to join the Party Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee to hold the position of Secretary of the City Border Guard Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term. In the new position, which is also an honor and a heavy and great responsibility, Colonel Ca Van Lap pledged to strive to cultivate, train, and improve his political mettle and professional qualifications in all aspects, to meet the requirements of the task; to be exemplary, united, and together with the Standing Committee of the Party Committee to lead and direct the unit to successfully complete the assigned tasks.

On the same afternoon, the Political Department Party Cell held a ceremony to award the 30-year Party membership badge to Colonel Ca Van Lap, a party member at the Political Department Party Cell, to show recognition of Comrade Ca Van Lap's contributions to the Party's revolutionary cause.
