
Accordingly, the total damage in the whole province is estimated at more than 2,500 billion VND. The People's Committee of Dak Lak province said that although the prevention and control of storm No. 13 in the province has been done very well, it still left a lot of damage to houses, agricultural production, infrastructure and transportation.
Specifically, Dak Lak had 15 casualties due to the storm; of which 3 people died, 12 were injured. The whole province had more than 7,300 houses with roofs blown off or damaged; more than 6,200 houses were flooded; more than 230 schools and 7 medical facilities were affected and damaged by storm Kalmaegi and the floods after the storm.

Regarding agricultural production, Dak Lak has 44,000 hectares of crops; 129 fishing boats and 54,000 aquaculture cages and rafts damaged by the storm with an estimated loss of more than 1,900 billion VND. Irrigation systems and traffic infrastructure were also affected, with more than 160 km of roads damaged by landslides; 10 rural traffic bridges were washed away... Immediately after the storm passed, Dak Lak province deployed to overcome the consequences and support people to stabilize their lives. The province has synchronously deployed rescue, support for food, drinking water, medical supplies; repaired essential infrastructure... with a budget of more than 80 billion VND.
According to the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee, the province currently needs a large source of funding to overcome the damage, stabilize people's lives and restore production. Therefore, the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee proposed the Prime Minister to support the province with 200 billion VND. At the same time, the province requested the Ministry of Finance to consider and guide the implementation of debt exemption, reduction, extension and debt rescheduling for enterprises, production and business households affected by natural disasters; requested the State Bank to direct credit institutions and commercial banks to consider and restructure debt repayment terms, and exempt and reduce loan interest for customers affected and damaged by natural disasters.
