On the afternoon of May 7, the collective leadership of the Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee chaired an online conference to assess the implementation of socio -economic development tasks, ensuring national defense and security in April, and directions and tasks for May 2025.

Many socio-economic issues were discussed by units and localities. Among them, disbursement of public investment capital, land use fee collection, and disbursement progress of national target programs were dissected and discussed.

By April 30, 2025, Dak Nong had disbursed VND 474 billion in public investment, reaching 11.57% of the plan, lower than the same period in 2024. Regarding the disbursement of investment capital, Chairman of Gia Nghia City People's Committee Ngo Duc Trong emphasized that the local capital source in 2025 is mainly site clearance costs. Many key projects of the province are stuck in site clearance so they cannot be disbursed.
