Dak Nong returns to its roots on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South

From April 8-11, a delegation of Dak Nong province, including provincial leaders, departments, branches and those directly involved in the Great Spring Victory of 1975, visited Ho Chi Minh City on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

During this trip, the delegation visited red addresses and historical sites such as Cu Chi Tunnels; Giong - Hoc Mon historical site; Nha Rong Wharf; Ho Chi Minh Museum; Independence Palace; famous cultural, tourist and economic sites in Ho Chi Minh City.

From April 28 to May 1, 2025, the Dak Nong Provincial Delegation, consisting of 6 members, including officers and soldiers, who directly participated in the Great Spring Victory of 1975, will attend the Celebration Ceremony, parade, march and art program to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

This trip back to the source aims to show gratitude to the cadres and soldiers who directly participated in the Great Victory of Spring 1975 and are currently living in Dak Nong province; creating conditions for them to revisit the old battlefield, meet and exchange with old comrades and teammates and look back at the important historical event of the country.
