Comrade Ton Thi Ngoc Hanh, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee chaired the meeting.
At the meeting, delegates basically agreed with the content of the Draft Resolution, however, some opinions said that some contents needed to be adjusted and supplemented.
Specifically, the scope of regulation and applicable subjects need to be more specific and appropriate. The group of disadvantaged subjects is proposed to enjoy social assistance policies, some opinions suggest that the group of near-poor households should be removed and only the group of poor households should be kept.
The social assistance level coefficient of other subjects is prescribed quite high (from 1.5 to 2.0 social assistance standard level) and needs to be compared and evaluated with the subjects receiving assistance policies according to Decree No. 20/2021/ND-CP as well as the actual local situation to prescribe appropriately...
Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Ton Thi Ngoc Hanh affirmed that this is one of the resolutions with humane significance for social protection beneficiaries and other disadvantaged people. However, to bring practical results to people in the group of beneficiaries, the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs closely coordinated with relevant units to carefully review the beneficiaries.
The relevant departments coordinate to research, advise, and propose appropriate support levels before including them in the draft resolution to ensure consistency, uniformity, and avoid duplication of subjects. The drafting agency reviews, studies, and supplements the draft resolution before submitting it to competent authorities as prescribed.
