Viet Tri Power Company employees inspect the electrical system to ensure safe and stable power supply.
In its power supply plan for the Hung Kings Commemoration Day and the Hung Kings' Cultural and Tourism Week in 2025, Phu Tho Power Company has developed scenarios and response plans for potential incidents. With proactive personnel and technical resources, the company will ensure quick response times, minimizing disruption to cultural activities and events.
The company has developed a comprehensive power supply plan for the entire province, particularly a specific plan for the Hung Temple historical site, Viet Tri city, and surrounding areas in Lam Thao and Phu Ninh districts. Simultaneously, it has conducted a thorough inspection and review of the entire power grid in the Hung Temple area, Viet Tri city, and surrounding communes, promptly addressing any defects in the grid.
For power lines supplying electricity to festival venues, the company assigns dispatchers to regularly check and adjust voltage on the power grid to ensure stable power supply; they also regularly monitor and supervise voltage at 110kV substations, adjusting voltage to ensure operation within the prescribed voltage range.
Viet Tri City is a central hub for cultural and artistic activities, especially those taking place during peak electricity demand periods. To ensure the continuous and reliable operation of the power grid and sufficient electricity supply for these activities, Viet Tri Power Company has proactively coordinated with the Management Board of the Hung Temple Historical Relic Area to develop plans and deploy personnel to regularly inspect, maintain, and repair transformer stations and power lines serving the Hung Temple area. In addition to the transformer stations providing regular power, several backup generators are ready to supply electricity in case of any incidents during the festival.
Comrade Nguyen Quang Vinh - Deputy Director of the Company, said: “The Company has developed a plan to arrange the operation of power sources and grids rationally to ensure safety and reliability under normal conditions and flexible switching in case of incidents. At the same time, the Company also requires units to strengthen inspection, detection and timely handling of defects in power source and grid equipment...”
The remote control center of Phu Tho Power Company operates 24/7 to ensure safe, fast, and timely monitoring and management of the power grid system.
In coordination with local authorities, review, develop, and implement plans to protect the security, safety, and fire prevention of power facilities and grid control locations; conduct a comprehensive review of the entire power grid to promptly detect high load conditions of power lines and distribution substations supplying electricity to locations hosting cultural and political events... Units should assign personnel to be on duty at high-load substations during the events.
It is understood that during the festival, Phu Tho Power Company will not carry out any power outages on the grid, except in cases of force majeure or special circumstances. The company has prepared personnel and equipment, and assigned staff to be on duty 24/7, ensuring the fastest possible response in case of any unforeseen incidents.
In addition, the company proactively coordinates with local authorities and mass media agencies to strengthen propaganda measures on protecting security and safety, preventing fires and explosions in power facilities; using electricity safely and rationally, and cutting off unnecessary electrical equipment during peak hours to avoid overloading power lines and equipment, which would affect the overall power supply.
