Ensure smooth and effective administrative procedures when arranging administrative units

Deputy Head of the Office Mai Thi Thu Van - Deputy Head of the Government Office chaired the conference at the main bridge point of the Government Office headquarters. The conference was connected online to the bridge points of 54 provinces and centrally-run cities, and was also connected to the bridge point of the commune-level People's Committee headquarters.

Attending the conference at the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee headquarters were representatives of the Provincial People's Committee Office; civil servants in charge of performing the task of controlling administrative procedures of provincial departments, branches and sectors; representatives of the Public Administration Service Center and representatives of relevant departments, branches and units.

At the conference, delegates heard an introduction to the new points of Decree No. 118/2025/ND-CP dated June 9, 2025 of the Government on implementing administrative procedures under the one-stop, one-stop mechanism at the one-stop department and the National Public Service Portal; guiding and urging the updating of information and data on the National Public Service Portal, upgrading the information system for handling provincial-level administrative procedures; urging the implementation of Resolution No. 66/NQ-CP dated March 26, 2025 of the Government on simplifying and reducing regulations and administrative procedures to create favorable conditions for businesses and people, ensuring effective implementation of major policies of the Party, National Assembly and Government in rearranging administrative units and organizing two-level local governments.

With the contents guided and introduced by the Government Office, it will help agencies, units and localities smoothly and effectively implement administrative procedures when rearranging administrative units and implementing the 2-level local government model; ensuring that 100% of administrative procedures are carried out regardless of administrative boundaries with the National Public Service Portal becoming a centralized, single "one-stop shop" serving people and businesses.

At the conference, representatives of localities and units also discussed some unclear contents and difficulties and obstacles in implementing administrative procedures when restructuring administrative units and implementing the 2-level local government model.
