"People speak - Party listens - Government acts" - Bridge from people's homes to government in Sa Pa ward

On the evening of August 5, a special dialogue took place at Cau May 2 residential group, Sa Pa ward, when the ward leaders did not invite people to the hall but went directly to people's homes to listen to their thoughts and aspirations. The intimate meeting became a solid bridge, spreading the spirit of being close to the people of the Sa Pa ward Party Committee and government.

According to the appointment, at 5:30 p.m., the working delegation of Sa Pa ward led by comrade Phan Dang Toan, Provincial Party Committee member, Party Secretary, Chairman of the Ward People's Council, together with comrade To Ngoc Lien, Deputy Party Secretary, Chairman of the Ward People's Committee and leaders of specialized departments and offices came to meet the people at the house of Mr. Ly A Pho, Secretary, Head of Cau May 2 residential group.

This is the second meeting of the Standing Committee of the Ward Party Committee on the theme "People speak - Party listens - Government acts" demonstrating the determination to promptly resolve problems among the people (previously, on the evening of July 31, the Standing Committee of the Ward Party Committee had a working session with the people of Phan Si Pang 1 residential group).

As scheduled, nearly 30 people, including women carrying small children, were present to attend this special meeting. In a sincere and open atmosphere, the ward leaders talked and exchanged with the people.

For more than 2 hours, residents and ward leaders had many open and frank exchanges of opinions, achieving many good results.

In more than 2 hours, 8 opinions with more than 10 contents were shared by the people. The opinions focused on many practical issues such as: Urban infrastructure and traffic; many households reflected on the state of degraded roads, especially the road to residential area of ​​team 2, causing difficulties in traveling; regarding Economy and livelihood, opinions related to supporting tourism service businesses, especially traditional brocade business of the people; regarding culture and society, people mentioned maintaining and promoting national cultural identity, at the same time eliminating existing backward customs; regarding land and construction, some households expressed their opinions on difficulties related to planning, land and construction licensing...

After listening to the opinions, the ward leaders and specialized departments have fully recorded and directly answered the issues under their authority. Issues that require time to consider and resolve are also committed to having a solution in the soonest time.

Mr. Ly A Pho, Secretary and Head of Cau May 2 Residential Group, shared: "The meeting was very successful. People were very excited to be able to directly express their thoughts and aspirations to the ward leaders. We have more confidence in the leadership of the Party and State, and in the leaders of Sa Pa ward."

Ms. Ly Thi Di - the person who directly expressed her opinion, excitedly said: "Today, knowing that the ward leaders are coming, we are very happy and excited to talk directly. I also have 2 opinions about brocade business and traffic issues, my opinions have been listened to by the ward leaders and I hope our opinions will be resolved soon".

Just like Mr. Pho, Mrs. Di, Mr. Ly A Chu, a resident in the group could not hide his joy and excitement: "This is the first time I have talked directly with the ward leaders, I found them to be friendly, cheerful and gentle."

At the end of the meeting, the leaders of Sa Pa ward promised to continue to accompany and promptly resolve the legitimate issues of the people. The meeting not only resolved the problems but also strengthened the solidarity between the government and the people, contributing to the goal of "being close to the people" to build Sa Pa ward to develop more and more.
