During the training session, the first-year militia soldiers of group 3 were able to visit the Ong No Bridge Victory Monument relic site in Dai Thang commune , where the commune guerrillas and local troops destroyed two American battalions in the past. At the relic site, the militia soldiers listened to People's Armed Forces Hero Nguyen Van Nam, a native of Dai Thang, talk about the traditions and fighting methods of the guerrillas in the resistance war against the US to save the country: "At the age of 15, I joined the Dai Thang commune guerrillas. At that time, with flexible fighting methods, taking advantage of the terrain and topography, applying the fighting motto "sticking to the enemy's belt to fight", the commune's guerrilla force made the enemy terrified. Now, seeing the children and grandchildren enthusiastically studying, training, and promoting the traditions of their ancestors, I feel very proud and have a lot of confidence in today's young generation."
