FRELIMO Party always attaches importance to the friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Mozambique.

On April 16, Vietnamese Ambassador to Mozambique Tran Thi Thu Thin had a working session with Secretary in charge of foreign affairs of the Central Committee of the Mozambique Liberation Front (FRELIMO) Ludmila Mwaa Rafael Maguni.

At the meeting, Ambassador Tran Thi Thu Thin congratulated Ms. Ludmila Maguni on her new appointment as Secretary in charge of foreign affairs of the FRELIMO Party Central Committee, expressing her belief that in her new position, the new Secretary will promote her experience and strengths to successfully complete the assigned tasks, contributing to expanding and strengthening the FRELIMO Party's foreign relations with partners, including the traditional, friendly and cooperative relations between the Communist Party of Vietnam and the FRELIMO Party, in order to deepen the relationship, which is a solid political foundation for the bilateral relations between the two countries.

Ms. Ludmila Maguni sincerely thanked the Ambassador for his good wishes, affirming that FRELIMO always attaches importance to the friendship and cooperation between the two Parties and the two countries, and expressed her readiness to coordinate with the Vietnamese Embassy in Mozambique to deepen the current Party cooperation, especially at an important time when the two countries are celebrating the 50th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam-Mozambique diplomatic relations (June 25, 1975 - June 25, 2025).

Ms. Ludmila Maguni sincerely thanked the Ambassador for his good wishes, affirming that FRELIMO always attaches importance to the friendship and cooperation between the two Parties and two countries.

At the meeting, the two sides actively discussed and agreed to promote the effective implementation of bilateral cooperation plans in the coming time, focusing on delegation exchanges at all levels, training, exchange and experience sharing, especially in areas that FRELIMO is interested in such as socio -economic development, Party building, protecting the Party's ideological foundation, identifying and combating sabotage tricks in cyberspace, innovating information and propaganda work, especially social media communication, work with youth, etc.
