50TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE LIBERATION OF QUY NHON - BINH DINH:

(BD) - On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Quy Nhon - Binh Dinh Liberation Day (March 31, 1975 - March 31, 2025), on the morning of March 29, the City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quy Nhon City held a flower and incense offering ceremony at the city's Martyrs' Cemetery and the Victory Monument.

Attending the ceremony were comrade Nguyen Van Dung - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of Quy Nhon City Party Committee; comrades in the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city; leaders of departments, branches, and armed forces of Quy Nhon City.

50 years ago, the army and people of Binh Dinh launched a general attack and rose up to liberate Quy Nhon City and the entire Binh Dinh Province. With the victory on March 31, 1975, completely liberating the homeland, the Party Committee, army and people of Binh Dinh made an outstanding contribution together with the Party Committees, army and people of the Southern provinces, and the whole country to fully implement President Ho Chi Minh's Testament of "fighting to overthrow the puppet regime", continuing the feat of "fighting to drive out the Americans", successfully ending the resistance war against the Americans to save the country.

In a solemn atmosphere, the delegates observed a minute of silence to commemorate the heroic martyrs - the nation's outstanding sons who sacrificed their lives for the nation's independence and freedom. Afterwards, the delegates laid wreaths with the words "Forever grateful to the heroic martyrs", offered incense at the memorial, and burned incense on the graves of the heroic martyrs, expressing their infinite gratitude for their sacrifices for the revolutionary cause of national liberation and reunification.
