Attending the ceremony were comrades: Senior Lieutenant General Le Duc Thai - Member of the Party Central Committee, Member of the Central Military Commission, Deputy Minister of National Defense ; Rah Lan Chung - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; former leaders of the province through the periods; members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and representatives of units: Military Region V, Army Corps 34, Army Corps 15 and the Liaison Committee of Veterans of the Heroic Division 1, the Liaison Committee of the Central Highlands Front (B3).
Attending the ceremony were standing members of the Party Committees under the Provincial Party Committee; leaders of departments, branches, sectors and organizations of the province; historical witnesses, Heroes of the People's Armed Forces, veterans, and revolutionary veterans living in the communes of Chu Prong, Bau Can, Ia Boong, Ia Lau, Ia Pia, Ia Tor, Ia Mo and Ia Puch; and representatives of the Border Guard Stations of Ia Mo and Ia Puch.

At the ceremony, Deputy Minister of National Defense Le Duc Thai and Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Rah Lan Chung and representatives of Chu Prong commune leaders conducted the bell-ringing ceremony, opening the memorial program. Next, the delegates took turns offering flowers and incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs.
Before the souls of those who fell for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, the delegates expressed their infinite gratitude for the noble sacrifices of generations of fathers and brothers who contributed to protecting every inch of sacred land of the Central Highlands during the stages of the struggle for national liberation.

The ceremony is not only an occasion to pay tribute but also to recall the heroic spirit of the Plei Me Campaign, a historical milestone marking the first battle against and victory over the US on the Central Highlands battlefield. The spirit of solidarity and the indomitable will of the army and people of the Central Highlands in general, and Gia Lai in particular, during those difficult days continues to be fostered, becoming a driving force for today's generations to preserve and promote.
