Gia Lai solemnly organized the 60th Anniversary of Plei Me Victory (1965 - 2025)

(GLO)- This morning (November 19), at Kpa Klong Square (Chu Prong commune), the Provincial Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Gia Lai province solemnly held the 60th Anniversary of Plei Me Victory (1965 - 2025).

The ceremony aims to propagate and affirm the great significance of the Plei Me Victory in the resistance war against the US to save the country; at the same time, praise the heroic, intelligent and creative fighting spirit of our army and people; the spirit of national solidarity - the endogenous source of strength that contributed to the victory, as well as to the construction of the homeland today.

The event is also an opportunity to honor the outstanding achievements of the Gia Lai people after 60 years since the historic victory, contributing to educating patriotism and pride in the homeland for all classes of people, especially the young generation.

Within the framework of the celebration, delegates visited the exhibition of photos, documents and artifacts related to the Plei Me Victory in 1965.

The ceremony was broadcast live on GTV and livestreamed on social media platforms of Gia Lai Newspaper and Radio and Television at 8:00 a.m. the same day.
