The Party Committee and Command of the 34th Corps announced the establishment of the Corps Criminal Investigation Agency.

On May 22, the Party Committee and Command of the 34th Corps held a ceremony to announce the Resolution of the 15th National Assembly Standing Committee, establishing the Corps' Criminal Investigation Agency and handing over the Decision of the Minister of National Defense to appoint the head, deputy head, and investigators of the 34th Corps' Criminal Investigation Agency.

At the ceremony, delegates listened to Resolution No. 1608 dated April 18, 2025 of the Standing Committee of the 15th National Assembly on the dissolution, establishment, and merger of a number of criminal investigation agencies in the Vietnam People's Army; Decision No. 1863 dated May 5, 2025 of the Ministry of National Defense on the appointment of judicial positions (head, deputy head, investigator) for the Criminal Investigation Agency of the 34th Corps.

On this occasion, the Head of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Ministry of National Defense and the Head of the Corps Command presented the establishment decision and certificate to the Criminal Investigation Agency of the 34th Corps and the judicial positions of the Criminal Investigation Agency of the 34th Corps.

Speaking at the ceremony, Lieutenant General Dao Tuan Anh, Commander of the 34th Corps, emphasized: The 34th Corps was established on the basis of the 3rd and 4th Corps. This is a major policy of the Party and State, of great significance marking the maturity and development of the Vietnam People's Army in general and the 34th Corps in particular.

Along with that, the Criminal Investigation Department of the 34th Corps was established on the basis of merging the Criminal Investigation Department of the 3rd Corps and the Criminal Investigation Department of the 4th Corps. Through summarizing and commenting, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and the Corps Command also acknowledged, commended and highly appreciated the great contributions of generations of leaders, commanders, officers and soldiers of the Criminal Investigation Department in the work of preventing violations and crimes.
