In the first quarter of 2025, the Provincial Military Party Committee promptly advised the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee to synchronously, comprehensively, and effectively deploy military and defense tasks; directed districts and cities to review and accelerate the implementation of military and defense targets for the 2020-2025 term. Typical examples include military recruitment, military training; combat readiness training; training new soldiers; strictly maintaining combat readiness, coordinating to grasp the local political security situation.

Party building work has been focused on, all aspects of work closely following reality have many innovations, successfully directing the Party cell congresses for the 2025-2027 term; well coordinating and organizing field trips, combining with mass mobilization work in 2024-2025; the program "Spring of solidarity, Tet with warm military-civilian affection" on the occasion of the Lunar New Year of At Ty 2025 in Song Khua commune, Van Ho district; successfully organizing the program "Joining the army festival" and "Tree planting festival to forever remember Uncle Ho" as a model for Military Region 2, in Son La city...

In the second quarter of 2025, the Provincial Military Party Committee identified a number of key tasks: Advising the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and Provincial People's Committee to direct civil defense drills for Sop Cop district and Moc Chau town; mobilization drills for Song Ma district; organizing training on national defense and security knowledge for the subjects; performing well the training, checking the completion of training and participating in the new soldier sports festival in 2025; leading and directing the grassroots Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term and doing well the preparation work for the 18th Provincial Military Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term; being ready to mobilize forces and means to respond to incidents, disasters, natural disasters, storms and floods.

Concluding the conference, comrade Hoang Quoc Khanh requested the Provincial Military Party Committee to continue to thoroughly grasp and promptly advise the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and Provincial People's Committee to effectively implement leadership and direction documents of all levels and sectors on military and defense tasks and Party building work; maintain strict implementation of the combat readiness regime, grasp the local situation, promptly handle situations, and avoid being passive or surprised.
