The Party Committee of Coast Guard Region 3 effectively implemented Directive 05 of the Politburo.

Over the past 10 years, the Party Committee and the Command of the Region have thoroughly grasped and seriously implemented Directive 05, considering it a key political task throughout the leadership and direction of the implementation of the Region's common tasks. Party committees and commanders at all levels have concretized the content of studying and following Uncle Ho's example with practical actions, in accordance with the functions and tasks of the unit.

Colonel Le Van Tu spoke at the conference.  

Political and ideologicaleducation and propaganda work are organized regularly, diversely and effectively; the Emulation Movement for Victory and campaigns are closely associated with studying and following Uncle Ho, contributing to building a contingent of cadres and soldiers who are politically steadfast, morally pure, scientific in their working style, dedicated and highly responsible.

Over the past years, the Command of Coast Guard Region 3 has inspected and handled hundreds of ships, imposed administrative fines of over 10 billion VND, sold confiscated goods and paid over 226 billion VND to the budget; fought and destroyed over 110 special cases, arrested nearly 200 subjects. The rescue work achieved many outstanding results, successfully rescuing 23 vehicles and 606 fishermen; coordinated to receive and safely hand over 934 Vietnamese fishermen from Indonesia.

In the mass mobilization program "Coast Guard accompanies fishermen", the unit organized hundreds of propaganda sessions for more than 171,700 people; presented 10,123 gifts, more than 4,250 scholarships, nearly 500 bicycles; donated nearly 30,000 national flags; 600 lifebuoys, nearly 300 medicine cabinets, medical bags, over 45,000 medical masks; 5,000 bottles of hand sanitizer gel for people and fishermen in the area; provided more than 6,000m3 of ^fresh water and 2,000 bottles of purified water (20 liter bottles)...

Through the implementation of Directive 05, many exemplary collectives and individuals have emerged in the entire Region, building a comprehensively strong "exemplary, typical" unit.

Concluding the conference, Colonel Le Van Tu emphasized: Party committees and commanders of agencies and units need to continue to strengthen leadership and direction, develop specific and practical plans, and focus on thoroughly overcoming limitations and weaknesses, especially in political ideology, ethics, lifestyle, and the state of "self-evolution" and "self-transformation" within the organization.

He requested to thoroughly grasp the motto of “Solidarity, loyalty, honesty, purity, exemplary”, “Above set an exemplary example, below actively follow”, associated with the spirit of “7 dares”; make studying and following Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style a voluntary and regular activity. Each Party Committee, each cadre and Party member must start with specific and practical actions; continue to discover, foster and replicate advanced models, creating a widespread influence…

On this occasion, the Regional Command commended 4 collectives and 13 individuals who excellently completed the contents in 10 years of implementing Directive 05.
