Spending 834 billion VND to give gifts to workers on the occasion of 50 years of national reunification

(Baothanhhoa.vn) - On April 23, 2025, President Luong Cuong signed Decision No. 689/QD-CTN on giving gifts to people with revolutionary contributions, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).

The total budget for gift giving is expected to be more than 834 billion VND and more than 1.68 million meritorious people will receive gifts.

The cost of giving gifts is guaranteed by the Central budget according to the provisions of Point a, Clause 14, Article 170, Decree No. 131/2021/ND-CP./.
