Investing 732 billion VND to build Binh Dinh Provincial Museum

The People's Council of Binh Dinh province has just approved a proposal to adjust and supplement the investment policy of the Binh Dinh Provincial Museum project with a capital of more than 732 billion VND.

On May 26, the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province announced that at the recent session of the People's Council of Binh Dinh province (the 24th session), delegates approved the proposal to adjust and supplement the investment policy of Binh Dinh Provincial Museum from 700 billion VND to 732 billion VND, with the implementation period from 2024 to 2028.

Previously, the Binh Dinh Provincial Museum construction project was approved by the Binh Dinh Provincial People's Council on December 6, 2023 with a total investment of VND 700 billion, but there was no compensation and support cost item. In fact, this cost item arose to compensate and support when reclaiming land from the Binh Dinh Provincial Labor Culture House at 86 Le Duan, Quy Nhon City.

The additional compensation and support costs of the project have been proposed by the Project Management Board of Traffic and Civil Works of Binh Dinh Province, and the Department of Finance of Binh Dinh Province has appraised and adjusted the capital sources and capital balance capacity. Therefore, the adjustment of the project investment policy is appropriate and necessary.

The objective of the Binh Dinh Provincial Museum project is to invest in facilities for the museum to effectively and scientifically collect, preserve and display valuable historical artifacts of the province, helping viewers have a comprehensive view of the history of Binh Dinh from the past to the present, the process of building and defending the country, blending into the flow of national history; at the same time, raising awareness and sense of responsibility of the community in preserving, promoting and maintaining cultural values. In addition, the Binh Dinh Provincial Museum will become an outstanding architectural work of Binh Dinh province, with high community spirit, serving the public's need to learn about culture and history, attracting domestic and foreign tourists.
