Investing 74 billion VND to repair important dykes through Ha Dong commune

Ha Dong Commune (Hai Phong) received more than 74 billion VND from the central and city budgets to renovate and repair more than 4 km of dike passing through the area.

After completing more than 4.4 km of dike invested by the central and city budgets, the dike system in Ha Dong commune area is basically concreted.

Specifically, the project to repair and restore the right Gua dike, section K0+000 - K1+650, has a total investment of more than 24.4 billion VND; the project to repair the left Mia dike, section K0+000 - K1+632, has a cost of nearly 16.8 billion VND; the project to repair the left Thai Binh dike, section K56+987 - K59+765, has an investment of 33 billion VND. The total investment capital for repair and restoration according to the projects is more than 74 billion VND, of which the city budget invests more than 18.7 billion VND.

The main repair and restoration items include completing the cross-section, reinforcing the dike surface with concrete, planting grass to prevent erosion, building retaining walls, making ramps... The total length of the invested dike sections is nearly 4.4 km, to be implemented in the period 2025 - 2026.

The Thanh Ha Area Construction Investment Management Board ( Hai Phong City) is completing procedures and documents to simultaneously implement the above 3 projects to strengthen the flood prevention and control system, protect people's lives and production safety.
