Exhibition, introduction of CNSH products

Attending the conference were representatives of leaders of central and local ministries, branches, institutes, schools, research centers and nearly 600 delegates.

In 2024, the Institute of Biotechnology will host a national scientific conference on Biotechnology. This is an activity in a series of activities at the University to implement the resolutions of the Party and the Government on developing the University into a National University; developing the Institute of Biotechnology - University into a national biotechnology center in the Central and Central Highlands regions - a core nucleus in the national biotechnology network.

CNSH is no longer a "single-disciplinary" field but has become a multidisciplinary center, combining many different fields of science and technology such as chemical science, physical science, materials science, health science, environmental science, computer science...

On a global scale, the development of biotechnology is taking place at a very fast pace. In the period of 2020-2022, when the SARS-CoV-2 epidemic broke out globally, it brought many risks to humanity. However, with the contribution of biotechnology, solutions were soon found to diagnose the existence of the virus, as well as quickly produce new generation vaccines to repel the epidemic, contributing significantly to protecting human health. This is the strongest evidence of the role of biotechnology in the economic and social development process of all countries in the world. Therefore, the development of biotechnology must be an urgent task, requiring priority in investment resources to upgrade facilities, train high-quality human resources, and form a biotechnology network from North to South, capable of mastering and developing new, specialized, and interdisciplinary technologies.

Many delegates attending the conference mentioned the development of national biotechnology through 203 articles; more than 200 conference reports and poster reports. Scientists gave many useful opinions, many effective and practical solutions contributing to promoting the development of biotechnology in general and biotechnology of the University of Science and Technology in particular.

Previously, on the afternoon of September 25, within the framework of this conference, an exhibition took place, introducing CNSH products of a number of companies and businesses across the country.
