Speed ​​up the construction progress of investment projects in the agricultural and forestry sector.

That was the direction of comrade Hoang Quoc Khanh, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee during a field inspection of a number of key investment projects in the field of agriculture and forestry in Van Ban and Bao Yen districts on April 25.

Participating in the working delegation of the Provincial People's Committee were leaders of a number of provincial departments and branches, the Provincial People's Committee Office and leaders of the People's Committees of Van Ban and Bao Yen districts.

The working group inspected the following projects: The project to invest in building a high-tech pig farm of Nam Anh Livestock Joint Stock Company (Tan An commune, Van Ban district). This project was approved by the Provincial People's Committee in June 2022, with a land area of ​​18.12 hectares and a farming scale of 24,000 pigs/batch. However, up to now, the investor has not implemented the project according to the approved content, the completion schedule is 1 year behind schedule, and the investor has not submitted a monitoring report as prescribed. For this project, the Provincial People's Committee is considering terminating the investment.

For the high-tech pig farming investment project of Quang Minh High-tech Livestock Investment Joint Stock Company (Tan An commune, Van Ban district), the scale is 30,000 pigs/batch, the land area is more than 17.2 hectares, the total investment is more than 190 billion VND, currently about 50% of the construction volume has been completed. The investor strives to complete phase 1 of the project by the end of June 2025, start raising the first batch of pigs by August, and complete all livestock items according to the design capacity by the end of 2025. Currently, the project is facing some difficulties in terms of electricity infrastructure, roads, and centralized water supply works.

Next, the delegation inspected the High-tech Pig Farm Project in Kim Son Commune, Bao Yen District (investor is Thinh Phat Kim Son 1 Joint Stock Company). The project covers an area of ​​42.34 hectares, raising about 40,000 pigs/batch. The project's investment capital is more than 254 billion VND. The project has cleared 39 hectares of land, the remaining area will be completed in May.

At the inspection sites, Mr. Hoang Quoc Khanh, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, highly appreciated the initiative and positivity of the investor in site clearance and construction. In particular, the investment project to build a high-tech pig farm of Nam Anh Livestock Joint Stock Company (Tan An commune, Van Ban district) will be considered to terminate investment activities.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested: Regarding the difficulties and problems that projects are facing regarding site clearance, traffic infrastructure, legal procedures, etc., the field belongs to which unit or locality, that unit or locality must be flexible and create all conditions to support businesses to complete the project as soon as possible.

Departments, branches and localities need to coordinate closely and enthusiastically guide enterprises to complete legal procedures related to enjoying the province's investment attraction policies, creating the best conditions to speed up construction progress, soon put projects into operation, contributing to local economic development.
