Proposal to revoke the license of American International Primary, Secondary and High School due to tax arrears

According to the Tax Department of District 7, Nha Be district, AIS American International Education Joint Stock Company, the investor of the American International Primary, Middle and High School, owes more than 100 billion VND in taxes.

The tax authorities have applied many coercive measures as prescribed but still cannot collect tax arrears.

Previously, the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City decided to suspend the operations of the American International Primary School, Middle School and High School (Nha Be District).

The reason for the suspension is that the American International Primary, Middle and High School did not meet the conditions to be allowed to operate education.

Specifically, this educational institution does not have enough financial resources as prescribed to ensure the maintenance and development of educational activities; the number of educational management staff is not sufficient to implement educational programs and organize educational activities.

The suspension period is 12 months from July 1, 2024.

According to the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City, this afternoon (August 28), this unit will organize a session to guide the transfer application process for students of the American International Primary, Middle and High School .

The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training recommends that parents quickly transfer their children to other schools to ensure their studies are not interrupted before the new school year.

Ho Chi Minh City's public school system will create the most favorable conditions for receiving students.
