Proposing 3 locations to relocate Central Psychiatric Hospital 2 and Central Institute of Forensic Psychiatry Bien Hoa

(DN)- On June 4, the Department of Health sent Report No. 3011/BC-SYT to the Provincial People's Committee on reviewing land locations to relocate the Central Psychiatric Hospital 2 and the Central Institute of Forensic Psychiatry in Bien Hoa to the suburbs of Bien Hoa city.

Accordingly, implementing the direction of the Provincial People's Committee, the Department of Health chaired a meeting with representatives of the Provincial People's Committee Office, the Department of Agriculture and Environment, and the Department of Construction on the above content. As a result, the meeting participants agreed to propose to the Provincial People's Committee 3 land locations to relocate the Central Psychiatric Hospital 2 and the Central Institute of Forensic Psychiatry Bien Hoa to the suburbs of Bien Hoa city, including:

Location of land plot No. 1 on sheet No. 1, plot No. 43 in Bau Ham 2 commune, Thong Nhat district with an area of ​​about 30 hectares. This land is adjacent to National Highway 20 and Trang Bom - Xuan Loc road, currently used for rubber plantation, land use planning is rural residential land.

Location of land plot No. 2 in part of sheet No. 80 in Tan An commune, Vinh Cuu district (this land plot was previously planned for Tan An Industrial Park) with an area of ​​20-25 hectares. This land plot is adjacent to Ring Road 4 - Ho Chi Minh City, currently rice land and perennial crop land.

The location of land plot No. 3 on sheet No. 27 and sheet No. 28 belongs to Tay Hoa commune, Trang Bom district with an area of ​​about 20-25 hectares. This land plot is adjacent to Ring Road 4 - Ho Chi Minh City, the land use planning is land for perennial crops.

Central Psychiatric Hospital 2 and Bien Hoa Central Forensic Psychiatric Institute are both under the Ministry of Health, currently located on Nguyen Ai Quoc Street, Tan Phong Ward, Bien Hoa City. Of which, Central Psychiatric Hospital 2 has a history of 110 years of formation and development. Meanwhile, Bien Hoa Central Forensic Psychiatric Institute was established in 2015.
