Proposal to build Cao Minh Industrial Cluster in Vinh Phuc

On the morning of April 17, Mr. Tran Duy Dong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, received and worked with Ms. Luu Van, Deputy General Director of CMC JD Limited Company on the proposal to build Cao Minh Industrial Cluster (IC) in Phuc Yen city. CMC JD Limited is a joint venture between CMC Group and Jingdong Group (China), mainly engaged in manufacturing and business in the fields of logistics, construction, energy, healthcare , etc.

After a period of research and survey in Vinh Phuc , CMC JD Limited Company wishes to invest in building Cao Minh Industrial Park in a green direction, protecting the environment with a scale of 30 hectares in Cao Minh commune (Phuc Yen), the project has a total investment of 100 - 120 million USD.

The goal of the industrial park is to attract domestic and foreign enterprises, create jobs for many workers, and combine the construction of a part of the logistics service chain with a system of modern factories and warehouses, well meeting the production and business needs of secondary investors.

CMC JD Limited also hopes that the province will pay attention and create favorable conditions for the company to research and invest in building a hospital in the area and invest in medical service equipment in the province.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Duy Dong highly appreciated the scale and experience of the investor, emphasizing the potential and advantages of Vinh Phuc province in attracting investment and developing industry.

At the same time, it is said that there are currently more than 480 foreign investment projects in the province, with a total investment capital of about 8.5 billion USD. To promote economic development, attract investment, and develop industry, Logistics is one of the important areas that the province prioritizes to attract investment.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee supports the investor's plan to build Cao Minh Industrial Park, assigns the Department of Industry and Trade to coordinate with the Department of Construction, relevant departments and branches to propose adjustments to the industrial park planning in accordance with the provincial planning, or introduce to the investor locations for investment in building industrial parks in accordance with the provincial planning according to regulations so that the investor can continue to research and soon implement the project, contributing to the socio-economic development of the province.
