At the event, Vice Chairman of Can Tho City People's Committee Nguyen Thuc Hien read a letter from the city's leaders to children on the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival, wishing the city's teenagers and children good health, good behavior, good study, and a safe Mid-Autumn Festival in 2023.

On the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival "Lighting up dreams", leaders at all levels presented 400 Mid-Autumn gifts to 400 disadvantaged children in Thoi Lai district.

On this occasion, children participated in lantern making contests, folk games, lantern processions, feasts and enjoyed lion dances, children's music and dance performances about Mid-Autumn Festival. The organizing committee presented 400 gifts to disadvantaged children in Thoi Lai district. The City Youth Union and the City Youth Union in coordination with Phu Nhuan Jewelry Joint Stock Company awarded 25 scholarships, each worth 2 million VND, to students who overcame difficulties and studied well in Cai Rang district, Phong Dien district and Thoi Lai district.
