Ho Chi Minh City Open University appoints 39-year-old principal

(TNO) Ho Chi Minh City Open University just held a ceremony to announce the decision to appoint a new principal on June 1.

Dr. Nguyen Van Phuc (39 years old), Vice Principal of the school, was appointed to hold the position of Principal for the 2013-2018 term.

Associate Professor Dr. Le Bao Lam, Principal of the school, resigned from the position of Principal after two consecutive terms and transferred to do professional work at the school.

Born in 1974 in Long An , Dr. Nguyen Van Phuc is currently one of the youngest university presidents in Vietnam.

He graduated from Foreign Trade University, received his master's and doctorate in economics from the Netherlands Institute of Social Sciences (ISS) in 2006.
