With a total investment of 11.7 million Euros, this center marks an important milestone and affirms DHL's commitment to promoting international trade for Vietnam while enhancing environmentally friendly business operations.

The new Hanoi Border Gate Operations Center has a total usable area of 4,500 m2, twice the size and has a maximum handling capacity of four times that of the old facility. This center is reinforced by a strong service network of DHL Express nationwide.
In addition, it is part of a network of 50 DHL gateway operations centers in Asia- Pacific , supported by four regional hubs.

Sustainability has always been at the heart of DHL’s business strategy, and the new Hanoi Gateway Center aligns with the Group’s goal of achieving net zero emissions by 2050. The center is equipped with 275 rooftop solar panels, generating around 120 kWh of electricity per hour and reducing carbon emissions by up to 70 tons per year.

With a larger capacity than before, the hub can handle more shipments, helping DHL Express increase its capacity while reducing greenhouse gas emissions,” said Mark Komene, Senior Operations Director, DHL Express Vietnam.
