With Covid-19, here are some groups of people at high risk if infected, needing hospital treatment:
- People over 65 years old.
- People with certain health problems, including: weakened immune systems, neurological diseases, such as stroke or dementia.
- People with chronic lung disease, such as severe asthma or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
- People with heart disease.
- Obese people.
- Diabetic patients.
- Chronic kidney disease.
- Pregnant women.
Places at higher risk of Covid-19:
- Elderly care facility.
- Disability care facility.
- Hospitals and other health care facilities.
To proactively prevent and combat Covid-19, the Ministry of Health continues to recommend that people take the following measures:
1. Wear a mask in public places, on public transport, and at medical facilities.
2. Limit large gatherings (if not necessary).
3. Wash your hands frequently with clean water, soap or antiseptic solution.
4. Increase physical activity, physical training, and proper nutrition.
5. If you have fever, cough, or difficulty breathing, go immediately to the nearest medical facility for examination, monitoring, and timely treatment.
