Foreign Language High School (University of Foreign Languages, Vietnam National University , Hanoi ) has just announced the exam scores and admission scores for grade 10 in the 2025-2026 school year for 7 specialized groups.

This year, the English specialized class has the highest standard score with 34.7 points, followed by the German specialized class of block D1 with 33.75 points. The German specialized class of block D5 has the lowest standard score with 30.01 points.

Foreign Language Specialized High School selects students based on the principle of taking the total score from high to low until the quota is full, from the specialized system with scholarships to the regular specialized system.

Admission score is the total score of Literature, Math, General English, Specialized Foreign Language (Specialized Foreign Language has coefficient 2).

Regarding the admission principles, the school notes that it only considers candidates who have taken the entrance exam, have taken all the required exams, and all exams have a score greater than 2. This year, the school does not organize direct admission; no priority or incentive points are added.

In the 2025-2026 school year, the Foreign Language Specialized High School will enroll 630 students. Of which, the English major will enroll the most with 315 students; the Chinese, German, and Japanese majors each have 70 students; the Russian, French, and Korean majors each have 35 students.

The school's estimated tuition fee is 3.2 million VND/month (9 months of tuition per school year).

On June 1, 3,400 candidates took the entrance exam for grade 10 at the Foreign Language Specialized High School. Of which, the English major continued to have the largest number of candidates registered with 1,611 applications; however, the "competition" rate in the Russian major was the highest.

Specifically, the "competition" ratio of the English major is approximately 1/5.1; that is, about 5 students take the exam to get 1. In the Russian major, the "competition" ratio is approximately 1/7. The "competition" ratio of the French, Chinese, German, Japanese, and Korean majors is 1/6.9; 1/6.6; 1/4.5; 1/4; 1/6.4, respectively.
