QTO - Although newly established, with the spirit of "Solidarity-Democracy-Discipline-Innovation-Development", the Trade Union of Quang Tri Power Company (PC) has quickly affirmed its pioneering role, becoming a solid "home" and "support", helping union members and workers to constantly strive to be creative and contribute to the development of the company and the community.

Efforts to care for and protect workers' rights

PC Quang Tri Trade Union currently has 1,260 members and employees, with an organizational structure of 20 member grassroots unions and 3 affiliated trade union groups. The team of members and employees has a fairly solid level of expertise, professional skills, the ability to quickly access new technology and management methods, good political qualities, good ethics, and seriously implements the innovation policies of the Party, State, industry, and locality.

In the period of 2023-2025, despite facing many difficulties and challenges due to the impact of natural disasters, the merger process..., PC Quang Tri Trade Union still focuses on performing well the role and functions of the organization in protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and employees. The Union has created favorable conditions for union members and employees to work in a clean, beautiful, safe environment with stable life, work, and ideology. From there, helping them feel secure in their work, together taking care of building the unit, actively participating in social work, building corporate culture...

Up to now, 100% of PC Quang Tri's employees have signed labor contracts and fully paid social insurance and health insurance. Providing labor protection equipment and periodic health check-ups are always strictly implemented. Thanks to the attention and close direction of the province, the Central Power Corporation (EVNCPC) and the efforts of the company, the income of all employees is maintained at more than 15 million VND/person/month.

In recent years, the PC Quang Tri Trade Union has performed well in its function of participating in the construction and representing and supervising the implementation of policies and regimes for employees. Labor safety and hygiene is always the top priority of the Trade Union.

Currently, the Union has directed and guided the establishment of a safety and hygiene group on zalo to promptly exchange information and share images and activities of production teams and groups as well as opinions and recommendations of members and employees. Thereby, the activities of the safety and hygiene network have been monitored by the Union at all levels and have given timely instructions, preventing violations from occurring.

Fostering creativity and inspiring dedication

PC Quang Tri Trade Union not only takes care of material life but is also a place to inspire creativity and social and community responsibility in each member and employee.

In the period of 2023-2025, the whole company has 2 initiatives at the Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN) level, 17 initiatives at the EVNCPC level, 8 technical innovation awards at the provincial level. In order to effectively respond to the "10,000 initiatives" program for the period of 2025-2028 launched by the EVN Trade Union, Quang Tri PC Trade Union has proactively implemented many practical solutions. Thereby, arousing the spirit of creativity, encouraging employees to propose innovative ideas and solutions in production, business and grid operation management.

By the end of the third quarter of 2025, the entire company had 17 recognized initiatives, of which 11 initiatives were being considered at the Corporation level. This shows a positive start in the first year of implementing the program. Currently, the PC Quang Tri Trade Union is continuing to concretize the program with many synchronous activities, linking the responsibilities of units and employees with the results of the initiative competition; establishing an "Initiative Support Team" consisting of union officials, technicians, professionals and experienced "initiative trees" to support early discovery of ideas, guide the preparation of documents according to the process, and ensure full updates on EVN's science and technology management system.

“To help the company's employees feel secure in their long-term work, the unit's Trade Union promptly advised the leaders of PC Quang Tri to renovate a row of public housing in the Quang Phu area to arrange for 30 employees from the South to work in the North of the province. These people are also supported with 5 million VND/person/month (until the end of 2025) to cover living expenses and travel. Thanks to the close and timely attention of the Trade Union, all employees quickly stabilized and approached their work effectively…”, Mr. Dang Van Ninh, Chairman of PC Quang Tri Trade Union shared.

With the motto “Employees are the center and valuable assets of the enterprise”, the Union regularly organizes many activities to visit and give gifts to the general power management teams in remote areas, islands and families of employees in difficult circumstances on the occasion of Workers’ Month. The Union also commends excellent and exemplary workers; promptly visits and encourages employees at the scene of units participating in overcoming power grid problems, overcoming the consequences of storms and floods, etc., with a total amount of more than 150 million VND.

During the 2023-2025 period, the Union has joined hands to build 30 houses of gratitude in the province with support from EVN, EVNCPC and PC Quang Tri with a total amount of more than 1.8 billion VND. In addition, the Union also participated in many meaningful activities, such as: Supporting Vietnamese Heroic Mothers; sponsoring 6 orphans in the program "Godmother - Spreading love"; maintaining the program "Linking arms of love" on the occasion of Lunar New Year every year.

With the achieved results, continuously from 2023-2025, Quang Tri PC Trade Union was honored to receive the Emulation Flag of Vietnam Electricity Trade Union, the Comprehensive Emulation Flag and the Emulation Flag of the theme "Green-Clean-Beautiful, ensuring occupational safety and hygiene" of the Provincial Labor Federation.
